Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Provide data management and reporting services
• Manage and implement database systems for the firm
• Provide support for existing in-house and third party database systems
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years experience in the following areas:
Technical skills required:
• Experience with MS SQL Server 2005 or 2008
• Very proficient in SQL and TSQL
• Solid understanding of DDL and DML
• Experience supporting OLTP and OLAP environments
• Understanding of good database design principles
• Experience with data management tools
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting, Analysis, Integration Services
Technical skills desired:
• Experience with third party software implementation and customization
Business skills desired:
• Back Office Functions (Accounting, HR, Payroll)
Other skills required:
• Ability to produce timely deliverables and manage multiple and shifting priorities in a dynamic environment
• Initiative to propose and create appropriate solutions for challenging situations
• Willingness to learn new technologies and new ways of approaching projects
• Demonstrable strategic thinking, influencing, problem solving and decision making skills
• Strong customer service orientation. A team player with the ability to establish collaborative working relationships
• Ability to work independently, navigate and maintain productivity in a matrix environment
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) required
• Positive attitude and sense of humor
Preferred skills:
• Familiarity with ERP systems
