Position Overview:
You will work closely with other engineers to implement new features, develop and maintain site content, and test and debug both the user interface as well as the backend services that support the storefront and the devices. You’ll be using Mason (Perl), Java, HTML/CSS/JavaScript (custom + JQuery).
Requirement Experience:
• Possess a thorough understanding of web application architecture, having a firm understanding of software development principles.
• Experience writing high-quality, production code on a Unix-based platform.
• In-depth knowledge of HTML/JavaScript/CSS supporting multiple browser/OS combinations.
• 2+ years of server side scripting experience e.g. JSP/PHP/ASP, Python, Ruby, Perl, etc.
• 2+ years of software development experience using a compiled/executable language (Java preferred).
• Flash/ActionScript experience a plus.
• BS/MS in CS or equivalent.
• A proven ability to learn and adopt to new, complex development environments.
• Superb analytical skills, excellent communication, strong team ethic, and attention to details - be meticulous!
