SFL Data is looking to add an experienced sales executive to its team who will be responsible for San Francisco area sales. This high level Discovery Consultant role will leverage their strong law firm and corporate relationships to deepen existing and develop new revenue opportunities. Responsibilities:
• Leverage marketing campaigns plus personally generate and prospect new business leads at target accounts
• Develop strategy and execute plans to work with new and existing Law firm and Corporate clients that strengthen relationships to the level of preferred provider of eDiscovery services
• Evangelize, educate and consult the SFL Data value proposition to clients and prospects via email, phone, online and other vehicles
• Maintain timely and accurate sales pipeline information input using SalesForce.com
• Develop and deliver sales proposals and respond to RFPs for eDiscovery services
• Commitment to ongoing education, research, track and communicate industry trends, best practices and competitive service offerings to identify opportunities for growth, innovation, increased market share, and competitive advantage
• Manage Sales Associate support resources to maximize personal productivity
• Coordinate with execution teams to ensure seamless delivery of services
Qualifications:
• Proven track record in selling electronic discovery (ESI), attorney document review or legal services to Fortune 1000 and AM Law 200 firms (Must have ability to leverage existing and develop new contacts with decision makers in the marketplace)
• Strong new business development skills that include cold calling, prospecting, listening, strong follow up skills, team selling, account planning and closing
• Demonstrated ability to use professional selling techniques (i.e. SPIN) to clearly capture client needs and clearly articulate SFL Data service offerings
• Strong verbal communications skills to clearly and succinctly communicate SFL Data differentiation
• Strong written communication skills with ability to create compelling sales meeting presentation materials and proposal responses
• Deep industry knowledge with the ability to confidently interact in industry trade associations, seminars and webinars on industry trends and technologies
• Able to build strong relationships both external and internal
• Have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and extremely self motivated
Minimum Education Required:
• BA or BS required; JD a plus depending on practice area and experience
