Account Executive
With exceptional prospecting and closing skills, the ideal Account Executive will develop and sell advertising opportunities to new prospects.
Responsibilities:
• Prospect and close new opportunities from local to national advertisers
• Develop advertising business from ad agency contacts
• Make effective business telephone calls
• Build and maintain client relationships
• Report on sales progress and attainment of goals
• Monitor competitors, chase relevant leads to increase ad revenue
• Develop a growing understanding of our product and industry developments
Qualifications:
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to prospect (ie cold-calling) and close new business
• Excellent presentation skills through strong knowledge of PowerPoint
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
Preferred Experiences:
• Demonstrable media sales experience
• Knowledge of various media platforms
• Exposure to dealing with mainstream advertisers
• Additional languages would be an advantage
