•	Report any hazardous conditions to management immediately <br>
•	Ensure security of locations and production areas<br>
•	Contact alarm companies for any security matters<br>
•	Perform daily video camera operations <br>
•	Conduct tours of premises to prevent vandalism to properties<br>
•	Follow Agency guidelines in Emergency situations.  Works with Police Department and Management to deescalate volatile situations.   <br>
•	Complete Loss Prevention Incident Reports on all incidents<br>

Job Requirements:<br>
•	Two or more years of security guard experience <br>
•	Knows locations and functions of circuit breakers, sprinkler system shut off and gas valves<br>
•	Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills<br>
•	Basic written and verbal communication skills<br>
•	Interpersonal skills <br>
•	Able to lift 25 pounds or more<br>
•	Ability to anticipate and quickly adapt to changing needs of the work environment<br>

As a member of NIRT’s Event Detection Team,  you will provide first level Intrusion Detection System (IDS) monitoring, analysis and security event response to information security alerts events; analyzes network traffic and IDS alerts to assess, prioritize and differentiate between potential intrusion attempts and false alarms; launch investigations; compose and sends alert notifications, and develop automated detection for profiled threats. <br>

·         Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and one to three years of experience in the security aspects of multiple platforms, operating systems, software, communications and network protocols or an equivalent combination of education and work experience;<br>

As the University of California’s first law school, <b>UC Hastings College of the Law</b> boasts a rich history of achievement in the field of legal education. Established in 1878 and located in San Francisco’s Civic Center district, our vibrant institution is seeking qualified Safety & Security Officers for a variety of shifts. In this position, you will maintain order, enforce laws, ordinances, rules and regulations and protect students, staff, faculty, visitors and campus property and facilities against accidents, bodily harm, fire, theft, vandalism and illegal entry. Typical duties and responsibilities include patrolling designated College property on foot, responding to calls for service and assistance, assuming fixed post assignments and monitoring and controlling access to buildings and restricted areas. You will be expected to inspect buildings for security, fire and potential accident and/or hazards and take preventive or corrective action as appropriate, open and close College facilities, monitor alarm systems and respond when necessary, provide escort services by foot and/or vehicle, provide security for large gatherings and College activities, control crowds during assemblies and disturbances, and, if necessary, makes citizens arrests, administer first aid and CPR, perform dispatch duties, prepare reports, enforce automobile parking regulations and may be assigned the responsibility of issuing citations for violations of the CA Vehicle Code. The Safety and Security Officer carries a baton, mace/pepper spray and handcuffs – carrying a firearm is prohibited.
