Hi all,

I'm a 22 year old currently living in Upper Market who is looking to sublet a room from mid-August until October or November. The end date is flexible, and I could begin the lease anytime after August 10th (would really love to have something lined up by Aug 15th, though!). I came out to California from Chicago to work as a Financial Analyst in Sunnyvale, but was laid off at the end of April and am currently enjoying the four months of severance pay they are giving me and interviewing for other jobs--the plan being that if I don't find something by October or November, that I pack up and move back home to Chicago. I really don't want this to happen, but the possibility keeps me from signing a six month or year long lease--so it's subletting for me!

About me: I'm clean, outgoing, friendly, extremely financially responsible, and active. I don't smoke cigarettes or binge drink, I don't have any pets (but love them!), and I'm definitely drama-free. I enjoy running, biking, playing softball and soccer, music and going to concerts, hanging out in the park, and having riveting discussions about any of the aforementioned topics! I have a fully furnished apartment right now, so ideally I would be renting something unfurnished, or if it is furnished, the rent would be low enough where I could afford to also rent a storage unit somewhere for this span of time. I have a car, and would prefer a sublet situation that either involved a parking spot or was located somewhere with suitable street parking--but I am totally flexible and this is not a must-have. I'd like to pay $1200 or less, but am willing to be flexible if a higher rent was due to an included parking space or something similar.

If you have a room you're looking to sublet and I sound like a good match for you, please contact me, either by email or at 847-630-8081.

Thanks!

-Brion
