Upper Haight offers great restaurants, shops, and we�re just 2 blocks from the Panhandle of Golden Gate Park. The location is good for public transportation: the 6, 7, and 71 stop right across the street
and the 43 is right around the corner.
The flat is completely furnished, your room is not. We have Comcast Internet and television with DVR, HBO, and Showtime. Bills run about $50 a month per person (Comcast and PGE). $1150 to the landlord includes deposit and last months rent; total move-in is $1750. There is no laundry in the building, but there�s a great Laundromat a few blocks away that has a huge parking lot.

ROOMMATES WANTED!

We're three 23 year old students with 2 rooms for rent. The price for each room is $460 with $100 deposit and available January 1st. It sounds sketchy but believe me, there are no strings attached!It's a safe neighborhood. Utilities are divided up evenly and paid when the bills come. Though the room is opening up after the holidays, we're looking to fill the spots as soon as possible. We're located near several bus stops including the 28, 71, and the N line. We have a driveway, so parking shouldn't be an issue if you drive. We're a few blocks from a Safeway, tons of Asian restaurants, a laundromat, and a few blocks from Golden Gate Park. This is a pretty good location if you go to SF State because it's super easy to get to campus.

About the rooms:
The first room is basically kind of like a basement and is the only room in the house with Carpet. It's a pretty big room with a closet and door into the garage which leads into the backyard.

The second room is more of a dining room I would say but we used it as an extra bedroom. The only drawback to the room is that it connects to the living room doesn't have a 4th wall and there is no closet. The pluses are that it's a pretty big room and it has its own little patio space with a sliding door. We don't really hang out in the living, so you don't have to worry about privacy or noise. And if we are being loud, just tell us to shut up.

Rules:
No smoking cigarettes in the house
Do your own dishes
Clean up after yourself
Basically, common sense stuff here
Besides that, there really aren't any rules. You're an adult, you pay rent, so do as you please.

What we're looking for:

One of our roommates is moving away for the Winter starting December 15th, so we are looking for someone to fill the room from sometime around then until mid- to late-March. This is a great opportunity for someone who�s new to the city and looking for a temporary room in the meantime. In the process, you get a chance to encounter some pretty amazing people and share some great times for a few months, until you find a more permanent living situation.

The Room: The room is about 10x13, and it�s $725 per month (plus about $20 in utilities). The room is fully carpeted, and we�d be happy to offer the bed and desk in the room if you�d like (both are in great shape). You also have a large window that gives plenty of light (probably the brightest in the whole house) and a nice view of uptown San Francisco. There�s also a 3.5 foot closet in the room, a large chandelier and a very high ceiling. Since you�ll be moving in on the 15th, you�ll only pay 1/2 month�s rent ($362.50) plus a refundable deposit of $300 on the move-in date. We�ll need some verifiable employment with a paystub or bank statement. You do not need to sign any lease or have your credit checked though. Shared kitchen and living room with a prime view of Civic Center and the downtown area. We have a communal TV and combined, are proud to own every kitchen appliance and utensil on the face of the Earth. Needless to say, this is all yours to use as well.

We have an outdoor area and on-site laundry that we share with one neighbor. Loads are only $1 for each washer/dryer load, and both work surprisingly well. You�re also welcome to smoke in the outdoor area, and there�s an art/project workshop area that you�re welcome to use.

We are located in a quiet neighborhood in Hayes Valley at Fulton and Laguna. Located about a 5 minute walk from Civic Center, the Fillmore District, and Alamo Square park, and a 10 minute walk from Lower Haight. If you ever get the chance to spend a sunny day in San Francisco with either of them, count on having the best day of your life, hands down.

In the third and final room (aside from yours, of course), is our recent college graduate from back East. Deemed as proficient in theatre/studio design by the state of New York, she�s taking some time off and enjoying the West coast before attending graduate school. She working as a barista here in the city until then, which means� Yup. Free coffee. She loves live music and finding new hang outs in the city, so if you�re feeling adventurous one night, she�s up for showing you around.

One block from the N, which also has 24 hour owl shuttle, and one block from the 18 bus, neither form of transportation can be heard from the house. One block away from Judah where one can find locally owned restaurants, coop grocery store, bars, and coffee and Java Beach Cafe which often has live local music. Surf shop one block down for those of you who surf.
