Leading Hospitality Interior Design Firm in San Francisco is seeking Senior Interior Designers and Junior Interior Designers for full time, 6 month contract positions. A minimum of 10 years experience is required for the Senior Designer position and a minimum of 5 years required for the Junior Designer positions.
Basic Qualifications and Responsibilities are as follows:
Senior Designer
Qualifications
• Must be able to lead the team in both concepting and design development
• Must have strong concepting, space planning, and detailing skills
• Must be proficient in CAD
• Must have a strong knowledge of FF&E
• Must be comfortable with conducting client presentations
• Must have prior hospitality and restaurant design experience
• LEED experience/certification is a plus
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Provide leadership to team to produce a highly creative and cohesive designs
• Develop layouts, construction details, etc
• Provide guidance to junior designers on design development
• Provide production assistance as needed
• Work with the project manager to ensure that all budgets and schedules are met
• Frequent travel is required
Junior Designer
Qualifications
• Must have strong CAD (release 2008) & Photoshop skills
• Must have strong FF&E selection and spec writing skills
• Must have knowledge of how a Construction Document set is organized
• Must be able to generate millwork construction details
• Must have prior hospitality and restaurant design experience
• 3-D computer modeling & hand rendering skills are a plus
• LEED experience/certification is a plus
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Provide production for all deliverables including presentation board development, rendered elevations and plans, spec writing, and CAD dwgs
• Work with project manager and senior designer to produce required documentation in a timely manner
• Provide thorough material, finish and FF&E research and selection
