Quality Assurance Specialist, Rich Media Advertising
VideoEgg is a fun, energetic, high-growth company and we are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.
Description:
Responsible for testing and quality control of high volume Rich Media advertising campaigns. Will also be responsible for helping define quality control workflow, and process guidelines. You will be asked to analyze and solve daily service, delivery, and technical issues.
You will work with a talented team of top-notch Developers, Designers, and Ad Operations teams to ensure all interactive units meet our technical and aesthetic guidelines. This role is an integral part of the department and will have a direct result on how our work is received in the marketplace.
Qualifications:
- Intermediate knowledge of the following: Flash, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
- Basic understanding of ActionScript
- Intermediate understanding of HTML, JavaScript, Internet file formats
- Experience with web authoring and graphics tools
- General understanding of web technologies
- Experience with common business productivity software
- Understanding of common platform/browser development issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to write clear and concise documentation
- Capable of working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Enthusiasm for new technology
- Sense of humor
Nice to Have:
- Advertising and/or Ad Operations experience
- Internet industry experience
Education/certifications or equivalent required:
- BA
- 2 years related experience
Note: This is not a traditional software development QA position. We are not looking for white/black box testers.
