We're looking for a Community Manager Intern who is passionate about new technologies, who's a social media power user and who genuinely enjoys cultivating, growing, and nurturing a community. We're a small energetic group of start-up people building exciting things for the web. (we'll elaborate in person) You'll work with our team and be on the front lines of our blog, articles, customer emails, Facebook posts, and tweets. If you love to learn new things and wear many hats then this is right up your alley.

If you're Internet savvy, comfortable with learning technology and software applications this is an amazing opportunity to cultivate outstanding professional experience at a fun San Francisco-based startup on a mission to change the world.

Social Media Responsibilities Include:


- Identify local internet media within our industry
- Identify, engage and reply on multiple social media platforms
- Generate social media and marketing reports
- Monitor social networks for potential threats or opportunities

- Monitor social media buzz and contribute to existing social media presence
- Market research and development of viral campaigns
- Writing witty, creative copy for promotional and engagement campaigns
- Responding to emails, Facebook posts, tweets.
- Developing and reporting on key metrics around social growth, user engagement, and customer retention


Qualifications/Requirements:

- Excellent writing skills
- Superior passion for social media tools and techniques is required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Previous PR and Media experience a plus but not required
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus but not required
- A willingness to learn more about these is imperative
- An understanding of what it takes to manage an online community
- Spectacular social media credentials
- Strong attention to detail
- A readiness to own relationships with our growing community of users
