In House Agency Planner

In-house agency is looking for a planner. The position will be working closely on the development of marketing communications efforts and-- creative brief writing --bringing a customer/client perspective to our work. This work will provide direction on communications initiatives, identifying key message and/or value proposition and recommendations on best ways to reach segments. Experience in digital media environments as well as print marketing communication channels: direct mail and collateral.

Job Description:

* Collaborate on the development of creative briefs ensuring business objectives and client insights are captured as well as compelling key message and/or value proposition grounded in business objectives

* Inspire and keep client POV top of mind with cross functional internal teams through data, insights and competitive understanding to differentiate our brand

* Assist in-house agency and partners to accelerate learning curve on creative brief writing

* Work closely with external agencies and other internal partners to gather, interpret and apply existing research and insights to client communications ( Research, MarCom, User Experience)

Qualifications:

* 6-8 years experience working in an agency environment in a planning or strategic services organization: agency, consulting, brand strategy or planning group.

* A track record of very strong communication and relationship building skills with solid background in internal and external communication at all levels

* Strong experience in team building and working cross functionally

* Experience preparing and delivering clear, well-organized presentations grounded in business and marketing objectives

Strong marketing skills: online and standard offline
