Role/Responsibility
The Sr. Web Designer plays a key role in contributing to the evolution and implementation of the CREDO Mobile brand online. The Web Designer contributes by conceptualizing, designing and implementing our online presence and marketing efforts (websites, landing pages, email, etc.).
The candidate has at least five years relevant experience in an agency/design studio and/or in-house design team setting with a keen understanding of web design, user interaction and visual design principles and best practices. The candidate is familiar with implementing standards based design solutions and can work closely with the web development team.
The Sr. Web Designer participates in collaborative design and project planning sessions with our internal clients in marketing, web development, online, and the analytics team to develop and implements compelling and effective solutions for our online marketing vehicles. The Sr. Web Designer maintains web style guidelines and will work with internal and external resources to support integrated campaigns and marketing efforts.
Skills
• Strong conceptual, visual and interaction design skills
• Strong proficiency in CSS, HTML, XHTML
• Expert in using Photoshop/Fireworks, Dreamweaver
• Proficient in Flash
• Expert typographic skills
• Experienced in designing for cross-browser environments
• Awareness of SEO standards and web analytics
• Participate in collaborative design and project planning sessions
• Design online marketing promotions, newsletters and various other marketing materials
• Comfortable in cross platform work environment ( Mac and PC)
Experience:
• BA/BFA in Web Design/ Interaction Design or similar
• Minimum 5 years of professional web design and production experience
• Thorough understanding of visual systems design, information design, identity design, and typography
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with designers, editors, marketers
• Must have excellent communication, organization and presentation skills
• Cross-medium design experience Print/Web a plus
• Positive attitude and ability to deliver under constant deadlines
