The Senior Brand Manager will lead new product development for multiple product lines. You will be responsible for defining marketing strategy for this division. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of marketing principles and practices, the ability to lead cross-functional teams through product development and launch (you will be responsible for managing 1-3 direct reports), and the ability to deliver a comprehensive marketing plan through complete product lifecycles. Prior experience in CPG, is STRONGLY PREFERRED.
Specific Duties
Short and long-range strategic planning
Look for opportunities to maximize sales and margins and develop product plans in line with profitability goals
Launch market research, category, trend and competitive analyses to identify consumer needs and insights and refine product accordingly
Identify unique brand and product opportunities or product positionings
Lead new product development efforts including setting direction
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cost, quality, and time targets for launch are met
Responsibility for P&L for product lines within unit
Education & Training
BS/BA with marketing emphasis or equivalent relevant experience
MBA with similar emphasis or equivalent relevant experience in Marketing preferred
6 -10 years marketing experience in a consumer-driven company
