Small, friendly law firm located in the financial district seeks a qualified legal secretary with 1+ years of recent litigation experience. This position supports 3+attorneys so the ability to work quickly, efficiently and independently is essential.
Duties include, but are not limited to: answering telephones, inter-office and court filings, pleadings, discovery documents, proofs of service and e-filing. Candidate should possess up-to-date knowledge of state and federal rules of civil procedure and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines required. Familiar with TimeMatters is a plus, but not required.
