Job Description
Complete construction projects by planning, organizing, and controlling projects; completing quality inspections; supervising sub-contractors and staff.
* Manages sub-contractors by locating, evaluating, and selecting sub-contractors; monitoring and controlling performance.
* Complete and maintain a Daily Construction Report detailing jobsite activity and problems encountered and/or solved.
* Meets construction budget by monitoring project expenditures; maintain cost and budget controls for each assigned project through systematic management of cost drivers
* Accomplishes construction project results by defining project purpose and scope; calculating resources required; establishing standards and protocols; allocating resources; scheduling and coordinating staff and sub-contractors; evaluating milestone assumptions and conclusions; resolving design problems; evaluating and implementing change orders.
* Approves construction projects by conducting inspections at critical phases; obtaining approvals from buyers.
* Prevents fines and interruptions by complying with, and enforcing, codes.
* Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
Requirements
* Bachelor degree in Construction management or Architecture
* 5 years of Residential and Commercial Construction project management experience.
* Strong management skills on schedule quality, cost control, good people, and skill is a must.
* Experienced in project scheduling and estimating software.
* Must be fully knowledgeable about reading plans
* Ability to work independently as well as communicating with sub-contractors and building inspectors.
* Familiarized with San Francisco city codes.
* We have a project starting very soon near Lower Pacific Heights so the candidate MUST live within 25 miles radius of Lower Pacific Heights San Francisco.
