RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Sr. Retirement Benefits you will administer day-to-day retirement plans (DC and DB). Serve as the primary contact for the Firm for all of the retirement plan issues, and provide support and counseling for retirement plans and benefits policies for all office locations. Research, analyze, and resolve varied retirement issues for all levels of employees at the Firm. Establish and maintain effective relationships with all client employees who participate in the retirement plans. Compile statistical data, interact with consultants, insurance agents, administrators, and revise plan documents in accordance with federal and state legislation. Provide training to directors, managers and HR personnel on retirement plan administration policies and procedures. Ensure high level of client service and satisfaction are attained in all areas of position.
QUALIFICATIONS
1) Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
2) Minimum of 7 to15 years retirement benefits administration experience.
3) Experience in retirement plan audits and government reporting requirements.
4) Full knowledge and ability of both Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit (qualified and non-qualified) plans.
5) Advanced data management and analytical skills.
6) Ability to use sound judgment skills and be accountable.
7) Self-directed, forward thinking, organized and able to meet deadlines.
8) Excellent verbal and written communication and comprehension skills.
9) Strong computer skills, especially in Excel and Word.
10) Working knowledge of databases and web-based communications.
11) Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and handle sensitive matters.
12) Ability to handle sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality in communications.
13) Strong team player skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse individuals at all levels of an organization.
