Wanted: Family / Mother's Helper (SF Presidio)
Loving busy family looking for extra pair of hands to help with our household and caring for our 9 month old twin girl and boy. We are: a photographer (mom) who is taking time off to raise her kids, and a software entrepreneur (dad). You are: organized, detail oriented, good with direction, very neat, flexible, happy, and very easy going.
Our ideal candidate has some college, legal, TB tested, CPR certified, immunized, happy and calm. Your job will be part mother's helper/nanny, part housekeeper with a dollop of family assistant thrown in. Early childhood education or child development classes are a good bonus.
Household duties include:
Light housework: Loading & unloading the dishwasher, putting away groceries, household laundry & ironing, tidying up and taking out trash & compost, etc.
Maintaining the order of family cars
Running errands, some transportation, household projects.
Lunch and dinner prep. If vegetarian - must be able to prepare meals with meat.
Childcare duties include:
Helping mom with feeding, nap times, holding, changing diapers, bathing, playing age appropriate educational and developmental games.
Accompany mom on trips to park, doctor, play-dates, outings etc.
You will be expected to do baby food prep, baby laundry, washing dishes & bottles.
Occasional babysitting during the day.
Must haves: a valid driver license & good record (own vehicle a plus). If you own your own vehicle must have valid insurance. Good verbal and written English. Sometimes available for baby sitting on nights & weekends.
Nice to haves: experience with twins and babies. Good cook.
Full time or part time (3+ days), 9:30 am to 6pm (some flexibility might be possible). Start date approx. Nov 30th. References needed, and will be checked. We pay SF market rates -W2 only.
