Learn the basic elements of glass fusing and kiln forming using Bull's-Eye compatible glass. Course includes actual hands-on firing. You will learn to fuse glass in the kilns available in the studio.
The basic aim of this class is to acquaint the student with the different possibilities in fusing glass by way of acquiring an understanding of the difference in types of firing schedules.
The $500 tuition for the six week class includes all the glass used for one firing per class. Students are expected to pay for glass and any other supplies they may deem useful in their final projects. The following tools are needed: goggles, glass cutter and breakers.
The class size is limited to 12 people. Due to the limited class size, a full tuition deposit will hold a place in the class.
Classes are held Monday Nights from 7 - 9:30 p.m.
