BuzzHub is an established startup aiming to revolutionize location-based advertising. We are looking for a key business partner to help us bring additional scale to the venture. This individual will provide business and operations experience to complement our team.

Our venture is at an exciting stage of development looking to scale up to further expand the commercial roll-out. This is an opportunity for the right person to help build the company from the ground up. We have proven the technology and customer acceptance and we now need to quickly expand the customer bases, strategic partners, and funding to scale quickly. This position is based in SF and will work in close partnership with the CEO.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for both new revenue generation and partner management. The BDE will identify, negotiate and close long-term, complex partner transactions, as well as manage some of the ongoing relationships between the company and key strategic partners. S/he will build significant new revenue by creatively applying strategies such as licensing, integration, bundling, etc.

By joining the BuzzHub team you will help build a venture that will produce significant impact as a result of your involvement. We are seeking a candidate with the following background to be an early and integral member of our management team:

* Experience raising previous funding or working at an earlier stage venture required
* 4-6 years of business experience; 2-3 years on a business development team desired
* Hands-on experience scaling a startup, including systems, processes, staffing, and planning
* MBA desirable
* Strong project management skills required
* Proficient in excel, financial modeling, and creating fundraising pitch decks
* Enjoys the fast-paced, highly flexible and dynamic environment of a startup
* Excellent written and oral English communication skills
* Experience and high level contacts in hotel, retail, advertising and/or out-of-home media industry
