Account Manager – Mobile Apps

We are seeking an account manager with a passion for building relationships, supporting customers and closing business. This is an amazing opportunity for an entry-level candidate to be at the center of the exploding app-driven economy. You will contribute to the growth of Flurry’s business by closing agreements with developers to implement Flurry’s leading-edge marketing solutions for iPhone, Android and Blackberry apps.
You will need excellent presentation and listening skills, exceptional organizational and contact management capabilities, and a strong competitive spirit. You need to have sold and enjoy the sales process. The ideal candidate will understand app-store channels, on-line analytics, and advertising networks associated with mobile apps. It will definitely help if you also have a solid understanding of the business of mobile and social networking apps.
Responsibilities:
• Manage client relationships with existing users, up-selling additional services
• Prospect new business opportunities with developers
• Negotiate and close agreements
• Support developers through the integration process
• Exceed quarterly business development objectives
• Develop and maintain an intimate knowledge of Flurry’s technology and services and be able to position them creatively to the Flurry developer community
Requirements:
• BS required
• 1-2 years of experience in sales or BD, preferably with consumer web or mobile services
• Ability to independently manage and develop ongoing client relationships, with an emphasis on up-selling additional services
• A track record of success in delivering against a sales plan
• Experience determining customer requirements and presenting marketing solutions
• Pro-active, independent thinker with high energy/positive attitude
• Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
This position reports to the VP of Business Development and will be based in San Francisco.
