Selling Out my Online InventoryI have aproximately 450 used books which are currently for sale on Amazon. According to Seller Engine (automated repricing software), the competetive price on Amazon currently for these books is $6.27 on average. The actual prices of the books range from a penny to just under $100.
Dear bookseller, please factor in the cost of gas and time required to attain this many books at booksales. Then factor in the time required to scan and grade around 450 books. Or if you're just an avid reader, this is a great way to get books for around one buck each.
This is a one shot deal, and these books are already in labelled crates which can easily be stacked into a car or truck. Listing them would simply be a matter of adopting the crate numbering system to your own SKU system.
Please download the
price file for all of the books in excel format here. I believe it to be quite informative yet rather self explanatory. It includes the current Amazon prices for each book. If you need help understanding this, please drop me an email. If you need it in text format, then
If you are a bookseller or not and wish to buy part of the stock please contact me. I may consider selling some of the items a la carte but nothing that totals less than $15. Also, I would consider offering discounts after purchases of $50. The retail price of each book is in the "ItemPrice" column. So contact me if somethings strike your fancy. Also if you are considering carving up the stash in any sort of significant manner, I would be most ameable to selling crates at a time. You can figure out what's in a crate by sorting the excel list by "SKU". Each crate is demarcated by the first letter in the SKU then the number directly after the dash. So if the SKU is a-5.070811-14 then the crate number is a-5.
Oh and to give you an idea about moving all of this, I can do it in two trips in my Volvo station wagon due to the tidyness of the crate setup. If you need help moving the inventory, I may be compelled to do it for say an extra $50 (depending on your location).
