Ocean Tomo’s Valuation practice offers professional valuation solutions for a variety of needs including financial reporting, acquisitions, divestitures, corporate reorganization, and litigation support. We are seeking an entry-level Valuation Analyst to join us in the San Francisco office. The Analyst will work closely with Associates and Directors focusing on the daily management of valuation engagements, including client contact, financial analyses and modeling, market research, and preparation of valuation reports.

Responsibilities may include:

• Performing market, industry, company, technology and royalty rate research
• Analyzing client-provided documents, reports and data
• Meeting and coordinating with clients to collect information for reports and analyses
• Synthesizing research information used in valuations
• Developing and reviewing financial models
• Drafting of written valuation reports and presentations

Requirements:

• BS/BA in finance, accounting, business or economics
• Distinguished academic achievement
• Attention to detail and quality control
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Solid analytical skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
• Overtime and travel flexibility
• 0 – 2 years experience
