San Francisco Based Television Production Company is looking for a part time Book Keeper.
2 days a week (approx. 20 hrs per week, negotiable hours).
Responsibilities shall include:
• Liaising with foreign headquarters on management of bank accounts and cash flow requirements
• Monthly reconciliation of various corporate and foreign currency bank accounts
• Overseeing Payroll: fluctuates but generally stays below 50
• Calculating & Preparing Payroll for Media Services Payroll Company
• Management of Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable
• Cutting checks and ensuring an adequate supply of pre-printed checks
• Preparation and processing of employee related benefit payments (HSCO) and issuing 1099 forms
• Co-ordinating timely preparation of any local reporting required by the city or state
• Liaising with creditors via phone and email
Qualifications Required:
• Previous experience in account payable environment
• High level numeracy skill
• Ability to interpret and abide by existing policies and procedure
• Ability to prioritize and work within established timeframes
• Ability to create and manipulate reports
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• High level attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent knowledge of Excel, MS Office and other financial packages
• Experience in a Macintosh environment (desirable)
