Starting Salary Range: $57,500-$80,500/annually. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Job Summary:
Supports existing Data Management applications including the Campus Data Warehouse and its reporting environment (SAP Business Objects); the campus permanent budget system, Financial Managers Workbench (FMW); and the campus course audit system (SCiiPI); and implements information development projects. Analyzes source systems and business requirement(s); designs, writes and supports interfaces from source systems; designs and supports reporting environments; establishes and maintains data security; optimizes/tunes system performance; and maintains application environments.
Generic Scope:
Experienced professional who knows how to apply theory and put it into practice with in-depth understanding of the professional field; independently performs the full range of responsibilities within the function; possesses broad job knowledge; analyzes problems/issues of diverse scope and determines solutions.
Custom Scope:
Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced programming and application support professional with full understanding of industry practices and campus and department methodologies, policies and procedures; resolves a wide range of issues. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Qualifications include:
Bachelors degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
Strong knowledge of data management systems, practices and standards.
Significant programming experience with information development tools, such as:
Programming languages: SQL, PL/SQL, Unix shell scripts
Databases: Oracle
Business Objects universes
Tools: TOAD, SQLPlus, SSH
Knowledge and experience with installing, maintaining, and supporting applications, such as:
Business Objects
Web servers: Apache Tomcat
Protocols: FTP, SFTP, other TCP/IP
Windows Operating systems diagnosis (e.g., event logs, traffic monitoring, registry edits)
Knowledge and experience with designing and implementing data models, whether relational or dimensional (a.k.a. star schemas) and data mapping or data conversion.
