The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. The Insurance Operations Senior Underwriting Assistant responsibilities include but are not limited to:<br>

•	Effectively communicate company standards, mission, underwriting guidelines, and requirements to brokers and/or members.<br>
•	Process incoming new and renewal applications.<br>
•	Accurately issue new and renewal policies. <br>
•	Process endorsements within authority level. Refer any endorsements exceeding authority to underwriter.<br>

•	Provide assistance and make inquiry of brokers regarding endorsements and renewals.<br>

Required Skills <br>

•	Must possess a moderate understanding of property and casualty insurance coverages; some familiarity with ISO commercial class codes is required<br>

•	Candidate should be organized and able to multi-task, provide follow-up, manage a heavy book of business<br>
•	Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude are required<br>

Position requires someone with extremely strong organizational skills, attention to detail, computer skills/aptitude, excellent customer service skills and the ability to follow up with donors in a friendly professional manner.  This is a maternity leave coverage that falls during the very busy fundraising / donation receiving season.  Tasks to include:  gift entry into computer, managing the structured thank you process, running reports, managing reports, pulling important grant information for submission etc.  The ideal candidate will have some level of experience with "Raisers Edge" computer software (although skilled admin's with strong computer skills will be considered.)  This is a full time position 8am - 5pm Monday through Friday. It is expected to last from December 2009 through February or March of 2010. •Coordinates Management, Committee and Board meetings. Assists the CEO and Board President in aspects related to Board and Committee meetings. Arranges for refreshments to be provided and responsible for taking meeting minutes.  <br>
•Collects and prepares information for use in discussions and meetings.<br>
•Screens incoming mail, publications and other correspondence.<br>
•Prepares or assists in the preparation of assigned reports.  <br>
