Position: Facility Assistant
Hiring Salary: $9.00-$13.00 per hour
Status: Part-time
Location: YMCA Camp Campbell, located in Boulder Creek
Under the direction of the Properties Director, the Facilities Assistant will perform building, grounds, and janitorial services to maintain the facility in a clean, safe, and proper operating condition. Duties will involve:
· Housekeeping (e.g. maintaining buildings and bathrooms in a clean, sanitary and stocked condition)
· Grounds maintenance (e.g. keep grounds tidy and free of litter)
· Maintenance (e.g. painting, basic electrical and plumbing)
This position is at the YMCA Camp Campbell, located in Boulder Creek (near Santa Cruz)
Qualifications:
· This position requires a commitment to the YMCA mission and its core values of: caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility as well as a commitment to building developmental assets in adults and youth. Additionally, the YMCA values diversity, youth, and a broad vision of health and wellness which is enhanced by relationship building
· Prefer three (3) years related experience and/or training
· Prefer high school graduate
· Minimum age of 18.
