What will you be doing? 
<br>

The Senior Store Training Specialist role is responsible for 
<br>
designing, developing, administering and tracking the West Marine 
<br>
stores learning management system. This role will lead the team of 
<br>
training specialist to research, develop and implement new and 
<br>
improved methods, procedures or technologies that enhance West 
<br>
Marine’s store training programs and learning processes.  The 
<br>
emphasis is on finding better, faster or less expensive ways to 
<br>
enhance customer service training while improving on operational 
<br>
excellence, expense control and sales.  This position reports to the 
<br>
Store Operations Senior Director.
<br>

Brief overview of Job Duties:
<br>

<br>
Design, develop, and implement a measure the quality of training 
<br>
programs for Store Associates that directly reflect the overall 
<br>
strategic plan.
<br>
Demonstrate ability to plan and deliver oral and written 
<br>
communications that impact and persuade the intended audience.
<br>
Conduct training needs assessments through the following: analyzing 
<br>
organizational needs and gaps, consolidating those needs into an 
<br>
organizational training plan and developing training tracking tolls 
<br>
for assessment.
<br>
Ensure the quality of training though effective needs assessment, 
<br>
design, and instruction and reinforcement strategies to achieve 
<br>
business objectives.
<br>

What are we looking for?
<br>

<br>
BA or BS or on the job equivalent. Experience in an online training 
<br>
and development role. (prefer a retail environment) Retail Exp. 
<br>
including Store Management, Inventory Management or District Manager 
<br>
preferred.
<br>

<br>
Strong writing ability Professional writing experience Knowledge and 
<br>
understanding of AP Style Experience with QuarkXPress Ability to 
<br>
work in a deadline-driven environment with strong organizational.
<br>

The Income Tax Manager is responsible for managing the Company’s overall process of income tax compliance and accounting for income taxes.  Working with the Tax Director and Sr. Tax Analyst, the Tax Manager will prepare the documentation to support West Marine’s quarterly and annual tax provisions and documentation for the 10K.  Also prepare support workpapers for the income and franchise tax returns.  Prepare quarterly tax estimates, calculate state tax credits, research current tax issues and assist with income and franchise tax audits. <br>

Qualifications:<br>

We are looking for a B.S. degree in accounting or equivalent, strong personal computer skills, strong analytical skills, supervisory skills, ability to multitask, ability to work independently, ability to meet deadlines, team player.  Five or more years combined accounting/tax experience with a corporation and/or CPA firm.  Masters in Tax or CPA strongly preferred<br>

Our doggie day care camp is located in the foothills of Felton, just off HWY 9, where we have a number of dogs that come during the week days to play in a secure and balanced environment. <br>
We are looking for a person who will drive our highly visible van <br>
and pick up dogs from Aptos to Felton.<br>

The daily hours will start as early as 7:00 A.M to as late as 6:30 <br>
P.M. Tuesday through Friday, with a built in split shift anywhere from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.<br>
<br>
<br>
We will be hiring 1 person for a part time position, Tuesday – Friday with the split shift in between driving the dogs to and from home to the dog day care. <br>
<br>
Applicants Must:<br>
Have a valid drivers license, and be insurable in the state of <br>
California. Have a clean driving record & be over the age of 25yrs<br>
Must supply print out of driving record<br>
Must be flexible and willing to start as early as 7:00 am<br>
Schedule will include a split shift. Must be able to lift at least 40 <br>
lbs and restrain a dog up to 75 lbs. Must be in good physical condition.<br>
Weekly hours will vary from 20 to 30 hours a week depending on camp <br>
needs. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Driving <br>
the van, cleaning the van, bathing dogs from 3lbs. to 120lbs., <br>
cleaning up after the dogs, giving owners feedback on their dogs. <br>
