I am writing a Guidebook for Homeowners to assist them through the Design and Construction process. I have 90% of the content in place on a 200 to 300 page document. The documents are created in Microsoft™ Word and need a qualified person to bring my current documents into one Guidebook with proper formatting (outlining, header, footer, etc.) and creating a fun look and feel. Eventually the final product will be formatted into an E-Book.
I work in the Cupertino area and will need to meet periodically. However I have the facilities for you to work from your home over a secure network. I would like the help of someone who could provide the following services:
1. Review and organize all existing documents into a mutually agreed to workable format
2. Compile and Edit existing documents for grammar and format
3. Familiarity with the Design and Construction process is a definite plus
After the original documents are completed we will need to:
1. Preparing the book with graphics and icons
2. Preparing and listing the book as an e-book.
3. Getting the book listed on Amazon and other online sellers
4. Website development, graphic and web maintenance a plus
Please provide me a description of the services you could provide, your experience, and other materials that you have worked on in the manner contemplated. Please let me know what else you offer that I should consider for this project and the hourly range you would be seeking. This is a part-time position and you will be an Independent Contractor and assumed that you have other projects.
