I am looking to fill this position long term with the right person.
Due to the economy and winter season, the hours for this position are based on work load. There may be some weeks where a full 40 hrs is required and others where there is only part time work to be done. Typically, we are busy year around.
This is small South Bay painting company of 20 years. Seeking a painter with minimum 3 years experience in the painting trade.
Sorry, painting for friends, family or painting in part as a maintenance person really does not apply. You need 3 solid years of experience to cover most of what you may be doing on a daily basis if empolyed with this company.
We work mainly for residential customers and provide full service to any needs they may have regarding painting.
I am looking for someone who takes care of themselves and are willing and able to work hard.
This job requires an eye for detail and the ability to keep the job site neat and clean throughout the day.
You need experience with interior and exterior medium to high end residential painting and some new construction painting, and an overall “good eye” for finishing paint and an ability to finish a project efficiently and completely.
You must be neat in appearance and speak clear English.
Must be on time and have a good attitude.
Must have reliable cell phone, a valid drivers license, valid SS# and reliable transportation.
Tools are not required but are also a bonus.
Prefer non-smoker
References will be required prior to starting employment. Must be extremely reliable, able to work independently and have the willingness to follow directions.
Starting pay scale: $13-$18 per hr. DOE
