Duties and responsibilities: <br>
- Demonstrate expert level knowledge of new software within 2 weeks of employment.<br>
 - Be able to apply that knowledge effectively towards training and advising end-user. <br>
- Be able to train end-users one-on-one using internet conferencing software. <br>
- Proactively ensure that the customer is ready and properly trained before they use the software.<br>
- Update online education material, user manuals, training guide and procedural documents to make the process more efficient.<br>

POSITION DESCRIPTION<br>

The primary responsibility for the Escalation Engineer Team is to manage all technical issues that are not resolved by L1 and L2 Support. Thorough understanding of the customer’s environment and the ability to provide expert advice and advanced troubleshooting problem resolution steps are essential.   Many of the problem scenarios require trace analysis, proprietary log analysis, advanced debugging of Windows, Linux and Unix O/S’s.<br>

•	Experience in a technical support position, preferably with a networking technology company.<br>
•	Deep knowledge of networking, understanding of packet flow and TCP session establishment.<br>

Responsibilities<br>

·     Actively drive and manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales process. <br>

·     Analyze the prospect’s infrastructure to identify the right integration points such as dataset integration, authentication, SSO, etc.<br>
<br>
·     Drive proof of concept programs/pilots to successful completion from both the technical level and by managing communications.<br>

·     Articulate technology and positioning to both technical contacts and end users.<br>
<br>
·     Identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. <br>

·     Do ad-hoc write-ups such as competitive analyses, RFP responses, slides and technical responses.<br>

·     Provide engaging and thorough presentations online and onsite at client sites, national conferences, etc.<br>

·     Support all the technical needs of the sales team.<br>

·     Travel to prospect and customer sites as needed, up to 50% of the time.<br>

·     Represent the needs of the Sales team to Product Management, Client Services and Marketing teams.<br>

Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience<br>
<br>
·     Must have 3 years of experience in selling/supporting enterprise SaaS services.<br>
<br>
·     Must have 5 years of experience in supporting the sales of enterprise solutions, all of which must have included technical writing and communications support.<br>
<br>
·     Must be willing to travel 50% of the time.<br>
<br>
·     Must live within 25 miles of Santa Clara, CA.<br>
<br>
·     Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base.  <br>

Once the inventory is complete, the team would need to move equipment, dispose of excess equipment via a defined processes, and install new equipment.<br>

Scope of Work<br>
•	Perform detailed onsite inventory of all client assets in the US and Puerto Rico regions. <br>

•	Prepare fork lifted HW for shipment to new locations.<br>

We are seeking experienced and recent Bio-Med Tech grads to work in and around the larger Metro Regions. For example, if you are retained to work in San Jose, that may include coverage of a 100 mile radius. <br>

Ideal candidates must have a strong systems engineering background.  Risk management and systems engineering experience at NASA or within the aerospace industry is desirable. Responsibilities include:<br>
<br>
•	Working with the SOFIA Science Project, manage its risk process, help identify and track project risks, integrating the risk resolution with the SOFIA Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).<br>
•	Work closely with the various Task Leads to review risks and coordinate resolution, ensuring the risk mitigation activities are in line with the IMS.<br>
•	Schedule and run Risk Management Working Group meetings, documenting and communicating the outcomes on a periodic basis.<br>
•	Support SOFIA Program and Platform Project risk management as needed, communicate applicable risks to the Science Project Management and Task Leads.<br>
<br>
As time allows:<br>
<br>
•	Assist in the development of requirements with a large, geographically dispersed team, enter the requirements into the tracking systems, and write specifications for the development of SOFIA’s documentation.<br>
•	Write integrated systems test procedures<br>
•	Review and approve test procedures written by others<br>
•	Participate in integrated telescope/science instrument/ground facility V&V tests<br>
•	Document and review V&V test results<br>
<br>
We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications:<br>
<br>
•	Risk management experience working across organizations a must.<br>
•	Experience integrating risk processing into a master schedule desirable.<br>
•	B.A/B.S. in Engineering, Math, Physics or equivalent experience is required<br>
•	7 years related experience<br>
•	Knowledge of the fundamental principles, concepts, and techniques in systems engineering.<br>
•	Strong verbal and written communication skills<br>
•	A background or interest in Astronomy is helpful but not required<br>

This Technical Support Engineer reports to the Manager, Technical Support at ZONARE Medical Systems a manufacturer of medical ultrasound equipment. The candidate is expected to provide expert technical assistance to our customers and perform the repair of failed spare parts. The successful TSE will be distinguished by their technical expertise, problem solving abilities, and their resourcefulness in diagnosing and providing customer solutions.  This proficiency will be combined with timeliness, reliable follow through in resolving customer calls, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

As part of the technical support team, this position will also be instrumental in creating and maintaining documentation, process standards, and service information.  The TSE will also perform failure confirmation on returned spare parts, repair the failed part, and perform verification testing.

<li>Provide first line technical support to the ZONARE Medical System’s customers, dealer service network, and Sales-Applications team
<li>Support the installation, maintenance, and repair of ZONARE ultrasound products.

<li> Manage regional Hotsites and work to resolve problems in a timely fashion
<li>Provide field feedback to ZONARE product development department and process improvement programs.
<li>Identify product defects and follow proper escalation procedures when appropriate.

Position Requirements:

<li>AS degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience (BSEE/EET preferred)
