Whatever your needs and/or interests are, from a general-purpose desktop, to a high-end gaming system, be it Intel or AMD-based, be it with single or multiple graphics card, I am more than capable of building it for you. Whether you prefer a 32-bit or 64-bit system, I can build it. Single drive, multiple drives, RAID array�whatever configuration you wish to have, if it�s possible to build, I can build it. Your dream computer can truly be yours, and, in almost all cases, for less than what any of the large boutique companies would charge you.

Starting from the outside in, your system can be enclosed in any type of case you choose, from a small LAN-box for portable gaming (with the exception of Core i7/X58 & i5/P55-based LAN-boxes, as there are none that I know of yet available, which may change soon), to mid/full-tower cases for normal home usage, to media center cases for use as part of your home theatre system. For most uses, any dual or quad-core Intel or AMD CPU will fulfill your needs, but if you�re interested in the best gaming system your money can buy, there�s never been anything better than the new Intel Core i7 900-series CPUs, which provide both quad-core & multi-thread technology

While you have your pick of ATI or nVidia-based graphics cards (I really recommend sticking with these two GPU manufacturers), personally, I tend to lean more towards the nVidia cards, for, while they may be slightly higher in price, they have also consistently outperformed ATI-based cards, not to mention, in all but a few cases, being more stable. For drives, be they hard drives and/or optical (as in CD/DVD/Blu-ray) drives, you always have your choice of legacy IDE (aka PATA), or the now-more-common, as well as more preferred, SATA.

All decisions are yours to make, if you so choose. For those who aren�t exactly sure what you want/need, I can easily walk you through a (usually) simple process of determining what your best needs are. The great majority of pre-built systems are designed for �run-of-the-mill�, general-purpose use, so, for many people who have the most basic of needs, chances are, a pre-built system will be a better choice. For those with more specific needs, such as gaming, photo and/or video editing, animation, music creation/production, and any other number of processing and/or graphic intensive applications, a custom-built system is, truly, your best (and, I might go so far as to say, only true) option.

One thing people always ask when it comes to custom-built systems is, �How much will this cost me, and am I really better off buying a custom-built system versus a pre-built system from a company such as Sony, Dell, or HP?� In truth, the answer mostly lies with what you intend to use the computer for. I can�t guarantee a specific price right off the bat, but I can guarantee this � I always do my best to find the best deals on the best components. I don�t just go around purchasing the cheapest parts I can find (unless that�s what you prefer), nor will I look specifically for the top-of-the-line, biggest name-brand components (again, unless that�s what you prefer) that cost a lot more than others. I do my best to try and balance quality/performance with price. Of course, for those who want nothing but top-of-the-line components, if you are willing to pay for such a system, as your typical Alienware & Falcon Northwest customers regularly do, then I am more than able to build you such a system. With some exceptions, such as those wanting a mid-level to hard-core gaming system, my goal as a builder is to provide people with the �best bang for the buck�, so to speak.

If what you are looking for can best be accomplished through purchasing a pre-built computer from some major company, then I will gladly inform you as such. On the other hand, if what you are looking for is best served through a custom-built system, then that is where a custom builder, like myself, comes in, being able to build a system tailored specifically to fit your wants and needs.

Payment for systems is handled through PayPal, and all orders are paid in advance. One of the main reasons I use PayPal is quite simple. As long as your PayPal account is verified, as mine already is, then this provides protection to both buyer and seller. Since I tend to purchase components on an �as needed� basis, as that�s the only way to perfectly match each computer built to the person buying it, I require the funds to purchase the needed components for any particular customer�s new computer. The only way I can afford to purchase the required components for each system is to have available cash to purchase said parts. It�s no different than other custom builders, be it Dell, Alienware, Falcon Northwest, etc., for they all require the full purchase price, in advance, before building a system.

I do NOT except checks, money orders, bank drafts, or any form of wire transfer, other than through the afore-mentioned PayPal account, being the required payment method for all transactions. Additionally, under my own definition, I do not consider a person a customer until such time as the systems components have been finalized and the funds transferred into the PayPal account. Prior to that point, I regard a person as a �potential customer. As a potential customer, I work with you to get (a) general idea(s) as to what you are looking for in a new computer. Once I have a general idea as to what you need, I can provide you with a �ballpark� figure. The actual finalized cost could be very close to that amount, but it could also be a few hundred dollars more/less. Once a potential customer kames the decision of me researching components for a system to be built, I require a $50, non-refundable, security deposit to be made into the PayPal account. This is to cover the time I spend researching out components for the system, as well as the time spent working up the quote. This, typically, can amount from as little as three hours, but, at times, has been known to take as long as five hours. If the potential customer decides to go ahead with the system, the final cost of the computer is lowered by the $50 amount. At that point, I work with the customer/potential-customer to work out a final component list, after which the remaining funds will need to be transferred to the PayPal account. Once the funds are verified by PayPal, and released, I am then able to order/purchase the needed components, and build your new system.
