This was a non-matching number project car with a Pontiac 400 XV engine that I was planning to restore but the plan has changed.This car has been gutted out for inspection and rebuilding. This is a solid straight car with no major rust except for usual minor rust around below rear window and tire wells area. All trim parts and interiors are complete some are new (window seals, glass swipes, headliner, door/trunk/cowl hood seals and other parts in good condition except for rear speakers window panel. Aftermarket Transam front spoilers and side mud guards, 1978 T/A fenders installed, T/A Hood & scoop and rear spoilers installed. Traction bars installed. Black interior. This will come with a 1979 T/A 3.23 posi disc brake rear end (not installed).

I have available to buyer at additional cost for $1,500 a 1973 T/A 455 cid engine and 1973 T/A TH400 tranny (non- matching numbers). I will not part these until the car is sold so please do not ask to buy this engine & tranny separately.

i have a 1991 ford escort. 5 speed manual. it just rolled over 100k. it has new tires, new timing belt. a/c doesnt work, but heater is great. very reliable cheap car.

gets about 35mpg on the highway. fuel gauge doesnt work, it has a dent in front left corner, it also has some paint fading on the trunk.

***problems.
right now it wont start. i believe either the fuel filter is clogged or the fuel pump went out. it has been parked for about two months and i tried to start it last week and nothing happend. so car will need to be towed. it still cranks hard its just not getting fuel to the engine. dont feel like fixing it. for someone with the energy to replace the part it is a great cheap reliable commuter.

it will need to be smogd so the registration can be renewed, it was only $70 to reg it. the car is not registered in my name bcuz i never smogd it. so it will be sold with a bill of sale only. if you have any questions send me an email i will answer promptly.
