Seeking an experienced and solid software engineer possessing a degree in computer /Software engineering with ten plus years relevant experience or equivalent. The job is located in Hillsboro, Oregon and for a reputed chip making company. Additional qualifications include:
- Expertise in software development on multiple platforms (Windows/.Net/OS X/other)
- Expertise in one or more of the following: C++, C#, Java, Objective-C
- Expertise in threaded development
- Expertise in phone development (iPhone, Android, Windows Mobile, Blackberry, Symbian) is highly valued
- Knowledge of Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, SoftAP, and/or WPS is beneficial
- Knowledge of designing and implementing wireless/networking protocols is beneficial
- A willingness to keep your hands dirty in the code on a daily basis (you will be a developer, not a PowerPoint jockey)
- Ability to present tradeoffs in implementation strategy and to defend proposed direction
- Proven ability to communicate clearly with technical and nontechnical people at all levels
- Excellent presentation and written skills for peers, executive management, partners, developers and
customers
- Technical breadth, attention to detail and flexibility to handle emerging technologies and projects
- Significant expertise creating, developing and maintaining productive, communicative, team-based working
environments
- Proven ability to mentor and assist engineers at all levels to develop their skills and competencies
- Experience reviewing and designing solutions for complex engineering problems
- Agile Software development methods
