RF Test Software Engineer
Key Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement automated test solution for mixed signal modules to be used in a high volume manufacturing environment.
Test Solutions includes:
o Developing test plans for WiFi/Wi Max/BT/GPS/FM and Cellular test and measurement systems
o Developing RF Test Fixtures for production environment
o Developing Automated Test Software Solutions
o Test System DVT
o Test Procedures
o Training and Maintenance.
Product testing, debugging, root cause analysis
Guarding manufacturing and test quality
Demonstrated proficiency in using statistical analysis programs for gathering and analyzing process data related to equipment performance specifications.
Interfacing with design engineering to drive improvements in regards to test software
Ability to work independently and on own initiative to analyze and solve process issues
Qualifications:
Minimum BS Degree in Electronics Engineering
Solid RF manufacturing test development experience is a must.
A good knowledge in microwave theory and measurement.
Experience in C/C++, .Net programming, and LAB VIEW GUI development. MATLAB is a plus.
Familiar with WLAN, WiMax and/or UWB technology
Working knowledge with RF and microwave design and simulation tools
Experience using RF test equipment. (Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, etc.)
Good hands-on test and de-bug experience
Experience in test system development for volume production.
Experience with prototyping and bring-up
Experience with developing manufacturing procedures
Knowledge of digital signal processing functions and sampling theory
Must be fluent in both written and verbal English
This position is located in Sunnyvale, California. Candidates from other geographies will also be considered.
