We are currently looking for an energetic and talented individual to serve as a Sales Associate to both expand our network of online universities, and clients in new categories within our Lead Generation business unit at Become.com. The ideal candidate is a sales superstar, has a passion about the Internet marketing industry and work in a fast paced start-up environment. The person will be responsible for prospecting, outbounding, negotiating and closing numerous large and medium accounts and must have good prioritization skills, detailed-oriented nature, and “fire in the belly”. The position reports to the Vice President.

Responsibilities:
• Prospect online universities or other lead buyers in new verticals
• Effectively and enthusiastically communicate the benefits of partnering with Become.com
• Make daily outbound calls
• Negotiate and close deals
• Work with engineering to integrate and launch new clients
• Optimize and up-sell to current partners
• Solve issues as they arise that is good for the client and for Become.com
• Any other task as needed for the group

Qualifications/Experience:
• BA/BS degree
• 1-5 years of proven outbound sales experience
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment
• Good customer service and problem-solving skills
• Lead generation industry experience in loans, online education, mortgage, insurance, travel, auto or other major verticals is beneficial.
• Thrives in a goal driven, and rapidly changing environment
• Teamwork oriented
• Knowledgeable of the internet industry and Proficient with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Combination of having been classically trained at a large company, along with start-up experience would be a plus
