Bay Area Kids magazine (www.bakidsmagazine.com) is expanding into Silicon Valley/South Bay, and is in need of sales/advertising representatives for those areas. Experience is preferred, but we also appreciate someone who's passionate without experience.
The Bay Area's premier lifestyle magazine for today's modern parents, Bay Area Kids provides the hautest fashions, events, kid-friendly restaurant guides, profiles, travel, recipes, and more. Launching our "East Bay" edition in 2008, we are expanding into Silicon Valley/South Bay, and need sales representatives to participate in - and be rewarded by - this expansion and growth. Someone with past magazine or newspaper advertising experience is a huge plus.
Our expectations:
• Through phone calls, e-mails, and in-person appointments - you will introduce Bay Area Kids magazine to clients and show them the benefits that come from being part of this great publication
• Submit a weekly call report
• Participate in twice-a-month sales meetings or conference calls
• Ownership of their territory
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Independent, self-reliant and able to close sales

Pay:
• A very high tiered commission structure: starting at 15 and going up to 25 percent (plus bonuses).
• Bonuses and incentives. We value our salespeople and do our best to make sure they're happy.
