Thank you for your interest in our recently available position. We are a restaurant & lounge located in San Jose. The position you will be applying for is:

SECURITY

Seeking qualified candidates for an evening security guard position at our venue. An exciting opportunity is available for those that have the right characteristics. We are looking for charismatic individuals that have an attention to detail (being able to spot problems before they arise).Individuals who thrive in high-energy environments and have the desire to give GREAT customer service to deliver an exceptional experience to our patrons. Let me say that again, we are looking for people with character and personality. We are an upscale establishment, and expect our staff to provide the best customer service throughout the evening. Our security personal are dressed in black suits each evening. We think of our security team as "Hosts", here are some of the Qualifications needed:

* Customer Service: Security must consistently be able to assess, anticipate and meet guests’ needs and respond quickly without losing focus or projecting a mood that detracts from guests’ experience. This requires practical knowledge of industry customer service standards (and to be able to go above and beyond those standards).

* Communication: Security must clearly communicate in a professional manner with guests, coworkers and management. They must understand instructions, read written company memorandums and communicate when he or she needs more direction.

* Interpersonal Relationships: Security must adapt to different personalities of guests and coworkers without losing focus. Extreme familiarity or conflicts with coworkers often weaken a team-oriented work environment.

* Problem Solving and Conflict Management: Security must recognize a problem when it arises and be able to resolve it appropriately by using good judgement, tact and initiative according to company policy and procedure.
