Position Summary:
Our Key Holders are one of most trusted staff member positions; they should be since they are the ones primarily opening and closing the store! They are responsible for their store's daily operations, staff management, meeting Hat Club's standards of customer service, and fulfilling company required tasks and procedures.
Accountability:
• Maintain an enjoyable and professional environment for customers and employees
• Perform store opening and closing duties
• Manage sales growth and achieve realistic sales goals through their staff & themselves
• Direct and develop staff members to high levels of efficiency and productivity
• Preserve Hat Club’s strong reputation for quality and customer service
• Oversee store operations: i.e. payroll and staff scheduling, inventory tracking and processing, daily paperwork and company procedures
Requirements:
• Experience in retail is preferred
• Flexible times of availability needed: able to work 20 hours or more per week, must be available to work a majority of Saturdays and busier customer traffic times, weekends, holidays, etc. when needed
• Posses natural ability to converse with strangers!
• Willing to make tough but fair decisions and deal with personnel and customer issues as they arise
• Key Holders have a great deal of freedom to manage the organization and must be a self-starter with a “whatever it takes” mentality
• Successful Key Holders should enjoy working on their own and have the ability to see the big picture while not losing touch with day-to-day operations
• A strong work ethic, enthusiastic personality, self-confidence, intelligence, effective organizational skills, and the ability to juggle many different responsibilities at the same time are essential to the success of this position
Compensation:
• A competitive starting hourly pay between $8.50-11/hr (depends on experience) plus performance rewards tied with hitting goals, and obviously great employee discounts. Give US an interview so we can get down to the details!
