i have a 3 year old tabby cat that needs a good home. i just moved from fresno and left my cat with my parents and they were "supposed" to take my cat with them to boise but ended up leaving him in fresno. so i had to go to fresno and rescue him. i live in an apt and i cant keep him. also he is an indoor-outdoor cat and its been so hard for me to keep him inside.

so if anyone could help take him off my hands please let me know...
he is a loving cat and his name is vade..
he really needs a home where he can go outside.

he isnt neutered yet but i have him on a waiting list to get nurtured for $10 and get him renewed on any shots he needs... i wont mind paying for these fees when his appointment comes i can send pictures of him... the image unloader on CL isn't working..

Boomer is a sweet loyal dog. He weighs about 75 pounds, is neutered, and is up to date on all of his shots. He is a great house dog, a good watch dog (he will bark when someone is at your door), and loves his owners. He is good with school aged kids and well mannered mature dogs although he typically is not "playful". He loves to be outside sniffing and trotting. (But please do not plan on leaving him out in your yard though � He needs to be inside with his pack.) He runs well on leash if you are into running or is just as happy with a nice walk. (He also loves being off leash if you can find a place for that around here.) He is in good shape and is a handsome dog for sure, looking much younger than his age. He is a sweet dog and you will never tire of seeing him get excited to see you when you come home or greet you in the morning with his wagging tail.
He is very healthy and is covered by a Banfield Pet Health plan through December for all of his shots and regular vet visits (which can add up - so this is a nice bonus!)
We hate to give him up but for a variety of reasons we can no longer keep him. We trust another good family or person will adopt him and continue to give him a good life.

....housing/hoarding nearly 100 cats/kittens. They are living in the worest conditions.Hazmat has to take them out! They asked town cats if we could help. We do not want to see all these animals sent to the pound where they will die. So we said yes. But we need the communities help.

We need Fosters for the 100 incoming cats/kittens at our No-Kill Shelter. They will start coming in Tuesday.

Do you have a spare room? A little extra love to give to these cats?

We heard they are friendly, tame and most might be kittens. We supply the food, litter and medical and you supply the temporary housing until they are adopted out at one of our fairs (located in San Jose, Morgan Hill and Gilroy).

I am all out of options, I have tried everything, rescue's, friend's, family.
No one is able to take my 12 year old female lab. I love this dog. This is my last resort. I'm not even stable on my own two feet, my wife, my son & I are forced to move and the place I am going to does not allow pets. I can't afford to go anywhere else, I'm just happy I got excepted to this place. I will not surrender my dog to the shelter to sit and cry when I leave her, so my last choice is to put her to sleep if I cannot find him a home by August 1st. Please, if you know

Mitzi was born May 12, 2002. She is a beautiful long-haired calico cat with tabby markings on her face. She has always been an indoor cat and I would like to find a home for her where she will remain an indoor cat.

I need to find a new home for my 2 year old terrier mix. We got Boston off craigslist last summer for my 13 year-old. The folks we got him from said he was a great family dog and he has been ok with my 3 boys but too much kid activity gets him worked up. I think he�d do better in an adult household with someone who could give him the training he needs and a lot of walks and runs. He loves to go for walks and would probably be a good running companion as well. He is outside during the day when we aren�t home and sleeps inside at night.

Boston has all of his shots and is a very healthy 26lbs. My vet says with some training he would be a great companion for energetic adults. He also tends to be very protective of his territory so you have to watch him around visitors and newcomers as he snaps at them�he does calm down after a while though.

I hate to get rid of him�he thinks he�s my dog and is at my feet whenever I am at home�which unfortunately isn�t enough for a dog like Boston. It is unfortunate that he was misrepresented on craigslist last time�we were really looking for a good family dog. Hopefully this time he will find his perfect person.

I have a terrier mixed dog about 1y and 3 months old and i have to give him away due to my roomates. I've had him for one day and i am already attached to him. He is nuetered and he knows sit, shake, high 5, jump, and lay down. He tends to be defensive around strangers especially guys because i think he has been abused by men before but if you stay around him for about 2 minutes, he'll get use to you. he comes with his crate, food bowl, leash, collar, toys, and papers. He is up to date on shots. I just need to find a home for him soon because i got him from a lady who didnt want him due to the father absolutely hating him. He is a good dog and he just needs a good owner who knows how to handle a terrier because they tend to have a mind of their own sometime. Oh and he is also housebroken. he sits next to the door to go outside.

p.s. i don't think he has ever been on daily walks because he doesn't know how to react to people walking by. I took him on a walk and he was barking at everything. He just needs to be comforted and calmed down a little.

we need someone who has time to train him even though he is over a year old and has patience because he needs time to learn how to stop barking and getting use to men.

Thesse black kitties are better than any calico or multi-colored tabby or show bread cat you will ever see. they love to get in your arms and purrr purrr purr. they also make really good foot warmers when you sleep (or if you have 3 like me you get a foot, head, and arm warmer!) these cats can not be places in a shelter because 98% of black cats get put down in shelters!! can you believe it!! who would want to do that to them!?!?! I know there is a home out there for them somewhere and I am determined to find it.

I took these kittens for someone who got evicted from her house and would have had to take them to a shelter. I told her I would find very good homes so here I am trying. and If you do not sound like you would make a good home I reserve every right to refuse you a kitten.

Bella, a shy black-and-tan Shiba Inu, is still on the run after being attacked by another dog in mid-April. She continues to be sighted regularly, thanks to the many kind people who have reported seeing her. She has recently been spotted in the Seven Trees/Capitol Expressway area, and as far south as on Monterey Rd between Metcalf and Bailey on June 29. Bella is obviously lost and traveling great distances to try to find her way home.

If sighted, please do NOT chase or shout at her as this will scare her away. Please call 408-891-4239 to report her location. You can follow her until her owners can reach you at the location, or try to lure her with food to an enclosed area like a backyard or garage.

I'm so sorry about your Tuxie. She was beautiful. But, I think you may have misunderstood your vet a little about Coronavirus. It's extremely common, not just in rescue situations. In households with only one cat, 25% of cats have Coronavirus. In households with 2 or more cats, 75-100% of cats are infected. Most people who have cats have more than one...so...most cats are infected. The fact that the vast majority of cats are infected with Coronavirus it why it is not tested for routinely. If we did test every cat, what would we do with all the cats who have the virus? We certainly wouldn't euthanize them because, as you stated, FIP can occur when the virus mutates, BUT, FIP is an uncommon disease. So, getting rid of a kitty because it is infected with Coronavirus would be like gitting rid of a kitty because it has a chance of getting cancer. FIP is just a sad thing that happens to a small number of cats. I know it's scary to think about, but it's a very small risk and 99% of kitties who are infected with the Coronavirus (and the majority are infected) end up dying from something else. To put things into perspective: certain cancers (like lymphoma) are way more common than FIP and chronic kidney failure is extremely common--a leading cause of death in cats.

The only time a vet would typically recommend testing for Coronavirus is when they suspect FIP. If the test is negative, then you can say that FIP is unlikely to be the cause of the illness (there can be false negative tests). If the test is positive, then all you can say is that (depending on the exact test you run) the cat has either been exposed to Coronavirus sometime in the past or that it is infected with Coronavirus. There is no test to tell you if the Coronavirus is a type that is more likely to mutate and cause FIP and it won't even tell you if the virus has already mutated into the form that causes FIP. Vaccination is really only recommended in certain situations in catteries. It's not recommended for the average household with a few cats. It is thought that vaccination of Coronavirus negative cats may possibly lead to a small reduction in FIP incidence, but, a field study has been completed which reveals that there is no statistically significant reduction in FIP in vaccinated cats.

I weigh about 40 lbs. now and since my mom was a Beagle and my father unknown, it is thought I will grow to be a 50 pound dog when I am at the top of my game. I love to play with the other dogs in my household, but my foster mom who says I am "delightful" will tell you that I can also be content to lay in the sun partaking of a nice chew toy. A home was raided a few days ago and nearly 100 cats were found inside living in filthy conditions. Morgan Hill Police will be removing cats soon. Most are kittens, so we hear. We do not want these cats to go the pound as they will be put down.

Basically we need people who are willing to FOSTER adults cats and/or kittens temporarily. We will in turn provide food, litter, medical etc. Fosters will bring them to the towncats shelter in Morgan Hill or to a local pet store in San Jose where they will be adopted out on the weekends. This is not a long-term thing we just need someone who is willing to house the cat for a few weeks to a couple months (adult cats) until the cat is adopted to a loving family.

Coming from someone who fosters, it's really rewarding, not a lot of extra work and personal satisfaction that you are doing something good for your community.

Candy is a cute 1-year-old brindle and white Boxer mix. She came into the Salinas Animal Services as a stray on June 25 and was not reclaimed. The person who found her said she was very friendly and got along great with his other dogs. Candy passed her temperament test and is a favorite among the shelter staff and volunteers. She is well behaved, friendly and eager to please. She walks nicely on the leash, loves attention, and enjoys romping and playing in the exercise yard. We're looking for people from the veterinary field and also those with no experience. Volunteer for projects ranging from spay/neuter clinics in Panama to collecting whale shark research data in Honduras. We can train!
