Supervisor should meet the following educational and experience requirements:
A Master’s Degree from an accredited or state approves graduate school, in social work or social welfare, marriage, family and child counseling, child psychology, child development, counseling psychology, or social psychology.
In addition to the degree specifications the following course work and field practice is required.
At least three semester units or 100 days of fields practice or experience in a public or private social service agency setting or equivalent shall be required.
Experience as follows:
Three years of full-time social work or casework employment in the field of family or child welfare services or two years of full-time social work or case work employment in a licensed foster family or adoption agency.
