Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Programmer will provide programming, set up and testing support to the CNC department and provide CNC coverage necessary to fulfill current customer requirements and future growth in a lean manufacturing environment.
Primary duties include:
• Program, as required, using Surfcam software.
• Construct part programs, set-up procedures and all supporting documentation.
We’re looking for someone:
• Proficient with Surfcam programming and set up.
• Knowledge of Fanuc Controls and Okuma controls knowledge a must.
• Ability to read and interpret for manufacture client specifications, blue prints, drawings and other technical documentation that may be utilized by the client.
• Demonstrated proficiency with English language skills (written and verbal communication)
• Strong communication ability
• Knowledge of basic Trigonometric concepts
• Knowledge of all aspects of Quality Management Systems and Lean Manufacturing.
• Self-Starter
