Centerline Precision Inc. is a dynamic manufacturer of precision parts focused on the 21st Century. We make the parts no one else can for a number of industries, including the Biomedical field. Centerline is proudly ISO 9001:2000 Compliant and looking for an important addition our team.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the CNC Machinist will provide set up, training and testing support to the CNC department and provide CNC coverage necessary to fulfill current customer requirements and future growth.

Primary duties include:
• Edit programs, as required, for the most efficient and effective method to realize customer parts.
• Set up tooling for run(s) on parts using machines with Fanuc and Okuma controls.
• Establish and run test protocol to assure program and materials are in compliance with customer specifications.
• Provide support, assistance and troubleshooting expertise to other CNC machinists at a junior level.
• Provide direction, under the supervision of the Operations Manager, to operators in the CNC department
• Follow all aspects of Quality Management System and Lean Manufacturing
• Indirect supervision to CNC operators, in conjunction with the Operations Manager

We’re looking for someone:
• Proficient on all CNC vertical mills.
• 5+ Years experience programming, set up and running prototype and production parts.
• 2 years of some form of advanced education (i.e. college, vocational school, apprenticeship, etc.) or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Fanuc and Okuma controls.
• Follow SurfCam generated programs.
• Ability to read and interpret for manufacture client specifications, blue prints, drawings and other technical documentation that may be utilized by the client.
• Demonstrated proficiency with English language skills (written and verbal communication)
• Knowledge of basic Trigonometric concepts
• Self-Starter
