This position reports into Operations and has the primary focus of qualifying product for shipment and improving product quality through control of production test processes, procedures, and equipment. The successful candidate will work closely with both internal product design teams and contract manufacturing technical staff.
Job Duties:
• Perform box-level functional testing for all products
• Develop or refine board-level and box-level test routines
• Review Contract Manufacturer test procedures and provide support to test operators
• Recommend process improvements for reliability, cost reduction
• Write procedures, present persuasively
• Interact with suppliers for technical and quality issues
• Provide training on process, technical subjects
Position Requirements:
• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Two to five years experience in Manufacturing test operations
• Hands on experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other test equipment.
• Strong grasp of Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Arena or Agile
• Experience in test development
Preferred Attributes (not required):
• Knowledge of Cisco CLI (Command Line Interface)
• Experience with JTAG
• Experience with networking test equipment such as Ixia, Spirent Smart Bits
• Experience writing and refining Linux shell scripts
• Knowledge of ISO9000, SPC, Six Sigma, other quality disciplines
• Excellent communication and persuasive skills, both verbally and in writing
