As part of your responsibilities you will:
Key Job Responsibilities:
- This is a highly visible position managing part or all of the following two key functions.
- OWNS LitePoint’s product quality.
- New Product Introduction Champion For Successful Launch .
- We are looking for a hands-on leader to primarily manage following function, but the role also requires to role sleeves in other operational engineering areas on as needed basis.
- Ensure new design releases meeting the manufacturability, automation, cost, and above all, the quality requirements.
- Develop and carry out test and inspection plans to ensure demo/sample/revenue shipments meeting the specified parameters and the application level requirements.
- Ensure production/processes in place to meet the highest outgoing quality standards.
- Lead and Drive process quality issue resolution.
- Lead and Drive field quality resolution and continuous improvements.
- Disciplined monitoring and communication of the intended progress.
Qualifications:
- The successful candidate will have 10+ years of HW design, new product introduction, and the failure analysis experience.
- Must be comfortable with RF/Microwave HW design – SW experience is a big plus.
- Able to spot, lead, and drive opportunities to closure.
- Connectivity and Cellular test system knowledge is highly desirable.
- Connectivity and Cellular application knowledge is highly desirable.
- Significant design and system/component level failure analysis experience required.
- Must be comfortable in leading activities, projects, and engineering teams.
- A team player with tactful communication skills.
- Candidate should be comfortable presenting to executive management. A persistent attention to detail, and a high level of comfort in working with both the tactical and strategic activities.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- BA/BS Required. MSEE Preferred.
- Minimum BS Degree in Electronics Engineering.
This position is located in Sunnyvale, California. Candidates from other geographies will also be considered.
