RF Techniques is a small resistor manufacturing company located in San Jose/ Milpitas area.
We have a part time ( M- Th) opening for a SMT printing operator. This position may change to full time as economy improves.

Primary responsibilities:
Set up and operate surface mount (SMT) printer for conductor paste, resistor paste and solder paste.
Make adjustments, minor maintenance, troubleshooting and cleaning of equipment and work area.
Ensures that equipment and processes remain within acceptable parameters through quality audits, testing and troubleshooting.
Keeps necessary logs and records.
Set up furnace and fire parts per profile.
Additional requirements:
Since RF Techniques is a small company, multitasking skill is very important. Working in a small company requires the person to do several tasks. Assignments and tasks may be changed each day and the person must be able to cope with the changes in schedule.
Must be comfortable working in a small group environment.
Needs to work with microscope, micrometer, small tools and chemicals.
Ability to write routine reports, and communicate other information in English.
Experience:
6 mos. experience in electronic products and assembly
SMT printing experience preferred but we will train candidates with machine set up experience.
Experience with Multimeter, Microscope & Micrometer.
Experience in SMT rework, hand soldering, and advanced troubleshooting a plus.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as drawings, assembly instructions, procedure manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and other standard electronics manufacturing documentation.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
