ENGINEERING METROLOGY TECHNICIAN (JOB: MET )
FULL / PART TIME
Job Description:
Perform a complete Service of Semiconductor Parts and Components. Interface with Sales and Engineering with regards to Order Status and Technical Issues. Perform daily routine maintenance and clean up with observance of cleanroom requirements. Communicate Order Status and results of test oral and in writing. Good Communication skills a must.
Document procedures where necessary and manage inventory for service parts. An active contributor in maintaining the high levels of quality necessary to our service facility.
ENGINEERING DUTIES:
1. Service of Mass flow and Pressure Products as well as other Equipment and Components related to Semiconductor and Industrial Equipment , including but not limited to:
Disassembly
Cleaning and Decontamination
Assembly
Test
Calibration
Packaging and Preparation for Shipping, in accordance with procedures in place and training received
2. Maintain Primary and Secondary Standards, monitor their performance and advise on their Certification and Recalibration
3. Create and Maintain Engineering Procedures for all Special Operations and / or Calibration
4. Apply all New Procedures and Modifications in daily Lab Operations.
5. Create and Maintain Technical Literature References for Lab - Catalogs of Technical and Installation Manuals, Schematics, Replacement parts Lists, Vendor Information.
6. Contribute Engineering Feedback with regards to the Serviced Components
7. Contribute along with the engineering team to the design / prototyping / test and documentation of products and systems. Good Documentation skills needed.
LAB MAINTENANCE DUTIES:
1. Maintain Lab Protocol – Class 100 Cleanroom through Monitoring – Cleaning - Observance of Cleanroom Procedures and Dress Code
2. Responsible for Inventory of Products and Parts
3. Maintain a list of Supplies and vendors for Lab Needs ( including all Cleanroom Supplies Ordering and Management)
4. Generate Written Orders for all Lab Needs to be approved by Engineering / Purchasing.
5. Generate GAS Orders and Monitors Gas Consumption in daily Operations
6. Responsible for Daily / Weekly Lab and Service areas Cleaning
7. Coordinates Monthly Clean-up in the Lab / Service areas – Establishes Schedules and Coordinates efforts.
COMMUNICATIONS DUTIES:
1. Communicates Oral and in Writing Status of Orders on a daily basis.
2. Presents Daily Activity Report
3. Communicates CLEARLY all events , technical challenges or insufficiencies that can prevent an order from being fulfilled.
4. Coordinates Order DUE DATES with Engineering based on Work Load and Availability of Spares
5. Coordinates Order DUE DATES with Sales – Any information that benefits the Customer will be Recorded on Workorder and Communicated to the customer via Sales.
6. Communicate with customers in technical matters regarding their orders and coordinate the Return Material Authorization process.
ENTRY LEVEL METROLOGY ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN ( JOB: ELMET )
FULL / PART TIME
Job Description:
• Reports to Lab Supervisor
• Performs Service of Semiconductor Parts and Components. Reports with Order Status and Technical Issues.
• Hands On in Disassembly, Cleaning, Assembly and Testing of all products being prepared for service in SERVICE DEPT.
• Perform daily routine maintenance and clean up with observance of cleanroom requirements.
• Communicate Order Status and results of test oral and in writing.
• Good Communication skills a must.
• Create procedures where necessary and manage inventory for service parts.
• An active contributor in maintaining the high levels of quality necessary to our service facility.
SERVICE DUTIES:
Preparation of Mass flow and Pressure Products as well as other Equipment and Components related to Semiconductor and Industrial Equipment upon request as follows:
• Receiving of package
• Visual Inspection
• Decontamination
• Disassembly and Cleaning
• Assembly -Preparation for test
• Packaging and Preparation for Shipping, in accordance with procedures in place and training received
• Shipping of product / Service Items per Shipping instructions.
