Job Overview:
This University Relations Internship position is in Human Resources within the Talent Acquisition University Relations group which supports U.S. College NCG and Intern talent initiatives.

Job Description:
The UR Intern will participate in the administration of the university relations program supporting all aspects of the team from maintaining campus relations to on-boarding NCG and Intern talent. While working in a team environment the UR Intern will be an integral member responsible to ensure the programmatic logistics are on track to meet program objectives. Specifically this person will work with the University Relations Representatives to support on campus recruitment efforts including: Scheduling campus career events, information sessions and on-campus interviews, attending campus events to promote the company image and develop a pipeline of qualified NCG and Intern candidates, scheduling on site interviews, including arranging travel as needed, tracking and reporting UR metrics, maintaining UR candidate records, participating in organizing NCG and Intern on-boarding and assimilation activities and possibly assisting with pre-screens resumes and sourcing candidates.



Specific UR Intern Responsibility:
- Act as primary contact for career center/campus contacts
- Register for on-campus events (Career fairs, IS, OCI)
- Create and maintain list of events
- Coordinate interviews and necessary travel arrangements (including complex “NCG interview days” with multiple candidates interviewing on a single day)
- Collect and manage required candidate documentation (application, EEO documentation, etc.)
- Maintain resume binders & tracking summary sheets
- Maintain giveaways/collateral inventory
- Create and maintain shipping schedule for booths & giveaways
- Initiate backgrounds
- Participate in coordinating NCG and Intern summer events and activities
- Other administrative tasks (check requests, etc)
- Update UR Internet page
- Opportunity to work on other projects including: UR News Letter, Assimilation Training Program, Global UR Support
- Potential for some limited Travel to support UR events (mostly Sept-Nov and Feb-Mar)



Qualifications/Education Desired (Skills & Experience):

The successful candidate should be enrolled in an undergraduate program - preferably Business (HR Concentration) or Organization Development major. Candidate should be in their junior or senior year, and able to work from 25 up to 30 hours a week during office hours (Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm). This is a paid internship and the duration is 10 months. Individual should have good planning, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills, along with a high degree of detail orientation.
