This is a key position on the Plant Leadership Team, responsible for managing and delivering Human Resources strategy and tactics in order to improve business results through development and execution of all People and Leadership processes, including: Talent Management, Performance Management, Employee Development, Organizational Effectiveness, Labor Relations, Change Management, Diversity, Compensation and Staffing. The incumbent must be able to build strong partnerships with all leaders and employees in a large, manufacturing, union environment; handle multiple projects for all client groups; drive performance; and provide perspective, insight, and execution on key performance indicators and corrective or supporting actions, especially as it relates to HR themes. The incumbent is an effective change agent, and a positive force in the effectiveness and engagement of the workforce.

Key priorities include:

•Increasing employee engagement through development and implementation of action plans based on employee survey results.
•Assessing and developing talent at all levels of the organization.
•Diagnosing and improving organizational effectiveness and workforce alignment.
•Developing comprehensive employee relations strategies and HR policies, procedures, and practices which support those strategies.
•Developing, implementing and communicating key HR/business initiatives and programs which support the success and growth of the business.
•Leading cultural change which emphasizes safety, communication, cooperation, relationship building, teamwork and productivity through the full engagement of all employees.

Qualifications:

•Bachelors Degree required in Human Resources or Business.
•SPHR desired.
•Five to ten years of HR leadership in a manufacturing environment
•Labor Relations experience required.
