Good afternoon!

My current landlord had their house seized by the bank due to forclosure, so I'm now officially homeless! I've been looking for another place to live for over a month now, and am reaching out to the craigslist people! I hope this way of reaching out could help us all out. I am 24 years old, I work & go to school full-time and I own my car. I have a boyfriend, whom would be visiting here & there and am a respectful housemate. I don't drink or smoke at home.

My biggest catch and the reason I've had to resort to posting an ad? Here it comes.....

I have two medium sized trained & well-mannered, housebroken dogs (pictured below..& not to mention beautiful..but maybe that's just what a 'mom' is supposed to say lol). They are biological brother & sister and I have had them since they were 6 wks old. They are super friendly with people and other animals. This will be the second move with them and let me tell you - it is extremely difficult to find a place that accepts them (most places off top do not accept dogs, so you can imagine my difficulty with two APBTs), but I have faith it will all work out. They are independent, non-destructive and are able to handle themselves properly for the times I am not there- while both in and outdoors (as we have the experience of living in a small apartment and a house together). I usually take them with me when I go places, so they wouldn't be home too much alone, but like I said, they are very respectful & trained, so I am confident in their manner. I should also mention that the male would not likely be living with me full-time, as his 'dad' will be taking him.

I would prefer the east or downtown areas, but I'm pretty much open to anywhere between south san jose and milpitas.

In these posts people spend the whole time trying to impress you just to let the REAL PERSON show once they move in. With me what you read is what you get. I am 35, mixed black male, clean, non smoker, no drugs, no drama, social or light drinker, and overall down positive earth guy. I'm the guy that usually makes friends, or at least creates smiles where I go at. So why is a great guy looking? Where I live at now for the past year I love the older landlord but her son now lives here and he's a biker guy who partys, smokes heavily, very loud, rude, and just don't want to be waking up at 1am and 6am with EXTREMELY LOUD Harley bike coming back and forth into the garage blasting "born to be wild" so as much as I love the older lady its time to move on.

I work on M,W,F and go to meetings on thursday nights for a couple hours and religious meetings on Sunday (dont worry not a holy roller). On weekends I like to get out for at least a few hours and as much as I hate to admit it... I spend a lot of Thursday nights over my friends house watching Grey's Anatomy. If your a heavy smoker (including 420) or have tons of people over into the late late hours I might not be the best person for your place. I don't judge anyones lifestyle since I also wouldnt want to live in a place where its a library environment where you can't make ANY noise however surprisingly found I don't really like going to sleep during the week to "Born Free" at 2am. =) Ideally looking for a room with internet and cable access, ability to use the kitchen (I clean up after myself always), and as much as everyone love to have their own bath I really don't mind if its another clean person like me. I searched cl today and there are a lot of posters with a laundry list of do's and don't and I just want to rent a room in a place that doesn't treat me like I'm back living with parents. Somewhere it can be a place to relax, be cordial at least when we do see each other, and friends could visit me from time to time.

I dont like posting pics of me online but just picture a shorter, less richer version of charles barkley and you have me. I can move in as soon as Nov 28th. Prefer to live in San Jose West or Campbell. So what are you waiting for!

She works most days as an office manager and she is also a dance instructor. I run my own business. I am a self employed printing professional and graphic designer with plenty of business. I work in and out of the home. Often I drive to visit clients during the day and sometimes I stay home to design (but I prefer to do this in a cafe or at the library). Also, we have only one car, and like it that way.

We have shared a house in the past with a couple of singles in their late twenties. We all got along very well. We were sort of thought of as the go to people of the property. Not sure why, but it just worked out that way. We enjoy sharing a house and do so respectfully. It is nice to have the amenities that a home can offer and to share that with others. I am also very handy with tools, home repairs, building, projects, painting etc. In our last house, we made some wonderful home improvements that the home owner loved. Dakini is a wonderful decorator as well. Amazing taste and color awareness. Kind of old world with a modern flair.

We both like to have fun. (Out dancing, or in playing a game.) We are both good communicators, easy to get along with, and enjoy cooperative living. We are happy to give space if roomies prefer to keep to themselves. But we are definitely social. We are not partiers, smokers, or heavy drinkers. We are too busy in our lives to be partiers. We like a clean, beautiful house - but we like to feel like we can really use it too. So a balance between functional and beautiful if good. We are not messy, but we like to feel like we can be comfortable where we live. A couple dishes in the sink after dinner - but cleaned up before we disappear for the night. Like that. We respect others needs as well.

We are performing artists. I am more of the musical variety, with a love for dance and visual arts. She is more active in dance, with a love for singing and visual expression. We are starting a side business / organization for group events, such as dances, song workshops and other creative activities like that. We currently host a dance twice a month at a dance studio in the area where she also teaches.

Lastly, I should mention that I have a daughter who lives in Santa Clara with her Mom. She is 13, and she is an 'A' student. (Very proud of her.) She likes to come over a couple times a week, (usually Wednesday and Saturday) and stays the night with us once in awhile. If she stays over it is usually on Saturday night. I mention her because I want a space that is teen friendly. She is not noisy, smelly, or overly dramatic. She is just a pretty, mellow, intelligent young lady, actually. She likes her iPod a lot. As I said, she lives with her Mom, but likes to come visit.

I actually have a lot of family in San Jose. They are great people. We are often out at family events - like birthday parties or high school performances for my many nieces and nephews.

We don't often have people over, but when we do we try to communicate about it with housemates first. We are not late night people, generally. We like our sleep. Once in awhile (especially in the Winter) when we can we like to spend a quiet day in the house, just lounging. We are not couch potatoes by any means, but sometimes it is nice to simply enjoy where you live. Down time is good!

I am a 40's male high school teacher and college lecturer. I live with my 19 year old son, we both just moved here from out of the county. We are currently in an apartment off of Leigh Ave, and would like to find a larger house , if possible, or at least a very large townhouse to move into. My son does not have a car and needs to walk/ bike to school each day to SJCC.

Workshop space needed for Nov & Dec Weekends (ASAP) in south bay.

Prefer Almaden and Cambrian areas, but also open to Willow Glen, Los Gatos, Santa Teresa areas

Would like to hold holiday-related jewelry and gift making classes on weekends. Need space for 2 or 3 8 ft folding tables and chairs - or seating and tables for 15-20. Would love the option for possible weekdays too, but not necessary.

Open to office space or residential space as long as there is access to a bathroom, some parking and is easily accessible. A single large room or two smaller adjoined rooms will work.

Even if you can not meet all the weekend dates - or can just do Saturdays or Sundays, that might work. Not preferred, but I could potentially use different locations.

I just really need a break since my current plans just fell through. Let's help each other!
I am willing to pay a reasonable fee if it can be paid post-workshops (after each weekend).
