A tile floor adds beauty and elegance to a bathroom. You can update your bathroom by replacing its flooring with ceramic or natural tile. It's a daunting task if you don't know what to do it, but is the easiest tile job to undertake. Your floor can look as good as a professional's...if you know how. We'll teach you the skills you need.
In this hands-on class, you will learn:
* The tools you'll need and how to use them
* How to estimate the amount and types of tile and other materials you'll need
* How to prepare the floor
* How to install cement board
* How to plan your layout to maximize results and minimize wastage
* How to cut tile, including difficult circular cuts
* How to lay tile
* How to grout
All DIY Academy classes are hands-on seminars. You'll learn what to do, then actually practice doing it.
